IT, set up properly.

Your email, files and accounts run your business. We make sure they are secure, tidy and actually looked after, with local Microsoft 365 and IT support in Manchester and across the UK.

A tidy, secure digital workspace with email, files and accounts organised

The problem

Most owners did not choose their IT setup. It grew.

  • Sign-in is just a password, with no second step.
  • Staff who left months ago still have live accounts.
  • Customers get odd emails that look like they came from you.
  • Files are scattered across personal drives, desktops and the odd USB stick.
  • When something breaks, everyone looks at whoever is best with computers.
  • No one really owns the IT.

"Working" and "set up well" are not the same thing. None of this is anyone's fault. It is what happens when IT is left to look after itself. The good news is that it is all fixable, calmly and in the right order, without ripping anything out.

Why it matters

Everyday systems that just work.

Fewer ways in for attackers

Turning on MFA and tidying up who has access closes the gaps that let a stolen password become a real problem.

Everyone finds the right file

When email and documents live in the right place with sensible sharing, your team stops hunting for versions.

Someone is looking after it

Instead of hoping nothing breaks, you have a point of contact who knows your setup and can help.

What we help with

Secured, organised and supported.

Microsoft 365 setup and health check

We review how your tenant is configured and put right the basics that were skipped.

Multi-factor authentication

We turn on a second sign-in step for every account, in a way your team can actually live with.

Email security (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)

We set up the records that stop others sending email that pretends to be you.

Email and file migration

We move mailboxes and documents into Microsoft 365 without losing anything along the way.

SharePoint and OneDrive setup

We organise files so personal work and shared work each sit in the right place.

Onboarding and offboarding

A simple process so new starters get access quickly and leavers lose it the same day.

Accounts and permissions review

We check who can access what and remove access that no one needs any more.

Everyday IT support

We are your point of contact for the small problems that stop people working.

Backup and recovery review

We check what would happen to your data if a file or account were lost, and fix the gaps.

Cyber Essentials groundwork

We align your setup with the recognised UK baseline, so you are ready if you choose to certify.

Built on recognised guidance

We follow Microsoft and NCSC guidance, not guesswork.

The settings and routines we put in place follow the official guidance from Microsoft and the National Cyber Security Centre. If you want to read the source material, start here.

Who this is for

IT support that fits a small business.

A growing team of 5 to 20

You have outgrown the "someone sorts it out" approach and need IT that keeps pace as you hire.

A trades or field business

Your team works from vans and sites and needs email, quotes and files reliable on phones and laptops.

A professional services firm

You handle client data and want it organised, access-controlled and defensible.

A business that had a scare

A dodgy email or a near miss has made security suddenly feel urgent.

An inherited, messy setup

You took over or grew fast, and no one really knows how the current setup hangs together.

A business with no in-house IT

You do not want a full-time hire, but you do want someone reliable to call.

Part of a bigger system

The foundation everything else sits on.

Tidy, secure IT is what makes the rest work: it underpins Cyber Essentials and security, it protects you against scams and fraud, and it is where automation and your CRM connect. See the whole picture on the homepage.

Where to start

Start with a free IT health check.

We look at how your Microsoft 365 and IT are set up today, and where the gaps are. You do not need the technical answer first.

You will get a simple, plain-English list of what is solid, what is risky, and what to fix first.

How it works

Six steps, no jargon.

  1. A proper look at what you have

We review your Microsoft 365 setup, accounts, email and files, and write down what we find in plain English.

  2. A short, honest plan

We tell you what matters most, what can wait, and roughly what each part involves. No jargon.

  3. Secure the basics first

We start with the things that reduce risk fastest: usually MFA, leaver accounts and email spoofing protection.

  4. Tidy and migrate

We organise files, sort out SharePoint and OneDrive, and move any email or documents that need to come across.

  5. Set up the routines

We put simple onboarding and offboarding steps in place so the setup stays tidy as the team changes.

  6. Stay available

We remain your point of contact, so when something comes up there is a familiar face who knows your setup.

A quick self-check

Is your setup as tidy as it should be?

  • Does every staff member sign in with a second step, not just a password?
  • If someone left last month, is their account definitely closed?
  • Do you know where your important files actually live?
  • Have you set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC so no one can spoof your email?
  • If a laptop were lost tomorrow, could someone get into your email?
  • When a new person starts, is there a clear process to give them access?
  • Who do your staff call when something stops working?
  • If a key file were deleted or a mailbox lost, could you get it back?

If more than one gave you pause, it is worth a conversation.

Questions

Frequently asked questions.

Do you resell Microsoft 365 licences?

We can help you buy the right licences and get the setup right, or work alongside licences you already have. The priority is that you are on a plan that fits, not selling you more than you need.

Can you migrate our existing email and files?

Yes. We move mailboxes and documents into Microsoft 365, including from older systems or another provider, and check nothing is left behind before we switch over.

What is multi-factor authentication, and do we really need it?

It is a second step at sign-in, usually a prompt on your phone, on top of your password. It means a stolen password alone is not enough. Microsoft offers it on all plans, and it is one of the most effective things you can do.

What is the difference between SharePoint and OneDrive?

OneDrive is for your own working files. SharePoint is for files a team shares and works on together. Most businesses need both, set up so it is obvious which is which. We organise this so people stop emailing versions back and forth.

How do you handle new starters and leavers?

We set up a simple, repeatable process. New starters get the right access on day one; leavers lose access the same day they go, so old accounts do not sit there as a risk. This is one of the most common gaps we fix.

Can you support us remotely, or do you need to visit?

Most day-to-day support is done remotely, which is usually quicker for you. Where an on-site visit genuinely helps we can arrange it. We are Manchester based and work across Greater Manchester.

What are your response times?

We agree with you what "urgent" means for your business and aim to respond promptly, prioritising anything that stops people working. We would rather be honest than promise a number we cannot always hit.

We use Google Workspace, not Microsoft. Can you still help?

Yes. The same principles apply: secure sign-in, tidy files, proper onboarding and offboarding, and email that cannot be spoofed. We can support Google Workspace or help you decide which fits.

What is SPF, DKIM and DMARC, in plain English?

They are three settings on your domain that, together, let the wider internet check that email claiming to be from you really is. Set up properly, they make convincing fake emails in your name much harder.

Do we have to sign a long contract?

No. We would rather earn the ongoing relationship by being useful. We can start with a health check and a clear plan, and you decide how support continues.

Will this be disruptive to the team?

We plan changes around how you work and roll them out in stages, starting with the quiet, behind-the-scenes fixes. Where a change affects how people sign in, we explain it clearly beforehand.

Can you help us work towards Cyber Essentials?

Yes. A good Microsoft 365 setup already covers much of the ground. We can align your systems with the recognised UK baseline so you are in a strong position if you decide to certify.
