For roofers
The calls come when the weather turns and you are on a roof
Storm damage does not wait for a convenient moment. Something answers every call, takes the address and the problem, and books the survey while you finish the job you are on.
Your actual Tuesday
It blew a gale on Sunday night. Monday your phone did not stop. It is now Tuesday, you are twenty feet up on a scaffold, and it is still going.
- Eleven missed calls by lunchtime, all urgent, all to the same three roofers in the area.
- You get to five of them that evening. Three are already booked in with someone else.
- The insurance job worth four figures was one of the ones you did not reach.
- By Thursday the rush is over and so is the opportunity.
Roofing work arrives in bursts. The businesses that win the burst are simply the ones that answered during it.
Three steps, no jargon
- 01
A free review
A short call about how enquiries reach you, what happens in a storm week, and what a typical survey turns into.
- 02
We measure it
We use your own numbers: repair versus full replacement, insurance work versus private. You get the figure either way.
- 03
We switch it on
It answers every call in a burst, takes the address and the problem, flags the urgent ones, and books surveys into your diary.
What does a storm week cost you?
Put in your own average job value. Roofing spreads widely, from a slipped tile to a full re-roof, so use a realistic middle for the work you actually take.
Potentially lost, per year
£23,400
Assumes every one of those callers would have booked, which they would not. Halve it and it is still probably worth a fifteen-minute call.
What you get
Three levels, all month to month. Most roofers want the middle one before storm season.

Questions people actually ask
Can it handle a rush of calls at once?
Yes, and that is the point. A person can answer one call at a time. This answers all of them, so the tenth caller in a storm hour gets the same response as the first instead of a voicemail.
Can it tell an emergency from a quote request?
It can flag urgency based on what the caller says, using rules you set. Active water coming in gets marked urgent and pushed to you immediately. A quote for next spring waits until you are down.
Will it sound like a robot?
It sounds like a calm, clear person and it says up front that it is an assistant. We would rather be honest than have a customer feel tricked. Most callers simply want to know they have reached the right business and that someone is coming back to them.
Am I tied into a contract?
No. It runs month to month. If it is not paying for itself, tell us and we turn it off. We do not use minimum terms because a service that needs a contract to keep you is not a service worth selling.
What happens to calls it cannot deal with?
It takes the details and hands them straight to a person, with a summary of what was said. It is not there to keep customers away from you. It is there to stop enquiries evaporating when you cannot pick up.
Do I need a new phone or a new number?
No. It works with the number you already advertise, and there is no new handset. Your number stays yours and you can move it elsewhere at any time.
How long does it take to set up?
Days rather than weeks for a straightforward setup. Most of that time is us learning how you actually talk to customers, which questions you get asked and what you never want an assistant to say.
What we promise, and what we do not
No lock-in
Month to month. If it is not earning its place, tell us and we switch it off. No minimum term and no exit fee.
Your number stays yours
We work with the number you already have. You keep control of it, and you can take it elsewhere whenever you want.
We will tell you if it will not help
If your missed calls are not costing you enough to justify this, we will say so on the review call. We would rather lose the sale than sell you something that sits idle.
A person is always behind it
Anything the assistant cannot handle goes to a human, with the context attached. It never pretends to be something it is not.
We do not promise a number of jobs, and we would be wary of anyone who does. Everything above is a commitment we can actually keep.
