For businesses

Remote IT support for Manchester and Stockport businesses

Many business IT problems are software, not hardware, and do not need anyone to travel. With your permission, we connect to the affected computer over a secure remote session, fix the problem while you watch, and tell you what we changed.

Problems we fix remotely

Email and Outlook

Mailboxes that stop syncing, passwords that keep being asked for, missing folders and email set up on a new computer.

Microsoft 365 and accounts

Sign-in problems, Office apps that will not activate, OneDrive not syncing and new starters who need setting up.

Printers and scanners

Drivers, print queues that will not clear, and scanners that stopped saving to the right place.

Slow or misbehaving computers

Start-up clutter, full drives, failed updates and programs that crash, cleaned up without losing your work.

Malware and suspicious pop-ups

Checks and clean-up when something looks wrong. For serious infections see virus removal.

Software installs and updates

Installing, updating or moving the programs your business relies on, including onto a replacement machine.

How a remote session works

  1. Tell us the problem

Call or email with what is happening, which computer it affects and when it started.

  2. We agree the cost

We tell you how we will approach it and what it will cost before we connect.

  3. You let us in

You run the remote-access tool and read us a one-time code. Nothing connects without you.

  4. We fix it with you

You can watch everything we do and end the session at any time.

  5. We confirm what changed

You get a short note of what we found and fixed.

Why distance does not matter here

Our collection service covers about five miles around our Manchester offices, but remote support has no such limit. Businesses across Manchester and Stockport, and further afield, can use it in exactly the same way. If a remote session shows the problem is hardware, we will say so and explain the options, including our business computer and laptop repair services.

Looking for ongoing support rather than one-off fixes? Talk to us about IT support for your business. Home users can use our remote PC repair service.

Questions

Is remote support secure?
Each session uses a one-time code that you give us, you can see everything on screen, and you can end it at any time. We never ask for passwords by email.
How much does a remote session cost?
It depends on the problem, so we agree the cost with you before connecting. If the fault turns out to be hardware, we will tell you before any charge is made for further work.
Do you support Macs remotely?
Tell us the problem and the Mac model and we will confirm whether it can be handled remotely.
